Common Questions

We support credit and debit card payments. We also support payments by direct deposit into our society cheque account.
We are registered under the Australian Societies Act and have the current authority to collect funds in Australia. We also hold the Australian Tax Office (ATO) Deductible Gift Recipient Status (DGR) and are registred with the Australian Charities and Non Governmental Commission (ACNC).
We have contacts with our sister organisations on the ground, making an effort to personally visit these ongoing projects to ensure that all processes are transparent. In addition to updates on our social media platforms, we can also provide pictures and details of the specific project (or orphan) on request. Furthermore, we provide quarterly receipts to ensure everything is clear and well-communicated to our donors.
We do not keep any profit from the donations. We do not have any employees at this time and all administrative costs are borne by the team. Almost 100% of your donations (less unavoidable administrative costs such as exchange and transfer rates) reach your intended donation recipient/s.

Project Questions

We carefully select and vet our sister organisations and occasionally pay visits to them to ensure compliance. Each of our sister organisations are well established in their work and are well trusted and known in the local community.
