We thank the community for their generous donations, which allowed people living in challenging circumstances to eat meat for the first time in months.
54 animals were slaughtered in different cities in Yemen. The meat was prepared and distributed fresh in reusable bags to the most needy families.
74 of the almost 400 animals were donated by wellwishers through Welfare Aid international. These animals were distributed to various villages around Tanzania (seen in table below) . The animals were slaughtered locally in the villages and meat distribution occurred along with Eid prayers to ensure the fairest distribution.
